Be yourself.

Who says you have to be just one thing? I say — find all the things that light your heart on fire. Chase them. Cradle them. Cultivate them.

Create yourself.

I am an artist, communicator, coach and weightlifter. I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arizona State University in 2009. I garner a strong interest in communications, marketing, graphic design, traditional media and performance. As a result, I steadily find myself searching for interesting and fascinating ways of fusing the mediums.

Lift yourself.

Aside from my endeavors in art and communications, I continue to pursue my passion for health, sport and weightlifting. With more than 15 years of competitive weightlifting experience, I have competed on the national and international level as a member of Team Arizona, LSUS and Team USA.

I obtained my Master of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2012. There, I completed my graduate assistantship at the USA Weightlifting Center for Development and High Performance. I worked with multiple-time Olympic Head Coach Dr. Kyle Pierce to train athletes and teach the principles of strength and conditioning, emphasizing proper technique and execution of the Olympic weightlifting movements.

Since then, I have served as an adjunct professor for Louisiana State University Shreveport’s Department of Kinesiology and Health Science as well as an assistant coach for the LSUS Weightlifting Team. I currently serve on the coaching education staff at USA Weightlifting as well as the coaching staff at CH Fitness and Performance, where I am responsible for programming for the competitive weightlifting team and other athletes.
